INTERIM GROUP COMPLIANCE MANAGER
Working within the compliance team, reporting to the Assistant Director of Quality & Compliance, this role will be responsible for providing and overseeing quality assurance and compliance reporting across provision for adults and children.

The Group Compliance Manager will have an excellent and thorough understanding of children’s residential and adult social care. They will have experience of leading a compliance team as a Manager, Senior Officer or Team Leader. They will have the skills and human qualities to train and raise awareness amongst staff on the significance of Good and Outstanding care and education, company values and compliance. They will be able to demonstrate that they have the skills to be alert for potential areas of vulnerability, or risk, and work with management and operations to develop contingency plans. They must be able to demonstrate that they can manage a team that evaluates monitors, manages and resolves issues relating to company values and compliance in an appropriate manner.

What are the responsibilities?
- Manage and oversee the completion of inspections and audits of adult and children’s provision in care and education across the Kisimul Group.
- Manage a team of Compliance Officers to enable them to perform well in their role, and take action when performance falls below expected standards
- Ensure that audits/inspections meet with relevant inspection frameworks and internal procedures.
- Oversee the collation, distribution and storage of reports so that they can be easily found and used across the organisation
- Oversee and manage the moderation of reports written by others. Providing feedback so that areas of development can be delivered in a constructive manner to improve the standard and consistency of the departments work
- Carry out active moderation, including work shadowing and the review of written reports to continually improve performance
- Conduct individual performance and development reviews, and monthly recorded 1-2-1 reviews with members of the compliance team, ensuring that objectives and targets are negotiated to improve standards, even when performance is good or better
